Mr. Corey Ephraim proudly serves as Assistant Principal at Parkdale Elementary—his alma mater and the school where his educational journey began. A lifelong product of Waco ISD, Mr. Ephraim attended Parkdale Elementary, Carver 6th Grade Center, Tennyson Middle School, and the 9th Grade Center, before graduating from Waco High School in 1997.

Mr. Ephraim earned a scholarship to East Central University, where he played as an Inside Linebacker. He later transferred to Baylor University and graduated with his undergraduate degree in 2002. He completed his Master of Education at Tarleton State University in 2022 and is currently pursuing his Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree at Liberty University.

With nine years of experience in education, Mr. Ephraim brings a strong foundation in instructional leadership and student support. Prior to his current role, he served as the Special Teams Coordinator and Varsity Linebackers Coach at Waco High School. Most recently, he worked as the SAIL teacher and Administrative Intern, where he supported student growth and staff development.

Known affectionately by students as “Mr. E,” he is committed to fostering a school culture that encourages academic excellence, character development, and community pride. His leadership is rooted in the belief that all students can thrive when given the right tools, support, and opportunities.

Mr. Ephraim is married to Mrs. Nikitha Hartfield-Ephraim, a dedicated Waco ISD educator with over twenty-one years of service. Together, they are the proud parents of three children: Aiyana (23), Cameron (16), and Corrae (13). In both his personal and professional life, Mr. Ephraim is passionate about helping students grow into confident, lifelong learners—and, when possible, great athletes too
